The video below does a great job of explaining the journey and the battle Alyssa has fought. It's an older video, but her battle is still going on to this day. It also does a great job in pointing out some of the hidden stress of childhood cancer. Besides emotional stress a lot of childhood cancer families also face financial stress. When you have numerous appointments, surgeries and travel, that's very stressful. But keep in mind the world doesn't stop around you and the bills don't stop either. It's for that reason we do our Comedy 4 Cancer events. While we can't make the pain go away, we try to assist with the financial burden.
